THURSDAY, Day 5: Mexican border - Lake Havasu You drive along the Mexican border through the impressive desert regions of California and Arizona to Lake Havasu. The 72 kilometer long lake is very warm and is fed by the Colorado River. It is a leading water sports center. “London Bridge,” which was dismantled in 1968, was reconstructed in Lake Havasu City FRIDAY, Day 6: Grand Canyon You travel Out of the burning heat of the desert and into the refreshing coolness of the mountains!
